Description
Passionate about writing and social networks? The position of Editor and Community Manager - Social Media is for you! You will be responsible for writing Lobe Magazine, social media content strategy, website, blog, newsletters, advertising and many other marketing and communications tools.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Editor
- Select the topics to be covered in Lobe Magazine.
- Make interviews with Quebec personalities in order to share their little secrets with the magazine's readers.
- Contact the authors so that they can write a text and carry out with them the necessary follow-ups.
- Respect the publication schedule.
- Revise all the texts received, making sure to respect the ethical rules.
- Coordinate the editing of the magazine with the graphic designer.
- Carry out and revise the translation of the texts by verifying that the technical terms used are appropriate.
- Make changes based on comments made by the magazine's reading committee.
- Ensures that the magazine is ready to go to print.
Community Manager - Social Media
- Develop the content strategy for social networks (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, etc.).
- Plan the content calendar and schedule publications.
- Schedule digital ads via Facebook Business Manager.
- Coordinate the design and production of visual content for the various campaigns with our team of graphic designers.
- Write eye-catching texts.
- Establish performance indicators for each campaign.
- Analyze the results to constantly optimize strategies.
- Ensure continuous monitoring to be on the lookout for trends and new developments that could generate new marketing opportunities.
Other marketing and communications tools
- Writes, revises and translates, if necessary, columns for partners, advertisements, speeches, presentations, conferences, guides, pamphlets and many other tools.
- Update content on the Lobe.ca website
- Feeding the blog
- Plan a content schedule for internal communications
COMPETENCY PROFILE
Training
- Bachelor's degree in French language and professional writing or other relevant training
- Other knowledge or development
- Mastery of the French language
- Mastery of the Office suite
- Mastery of social media
- Mastery of Internet and Intranet networks
- Knowledge of InDesign software
- Ability to translate and validate translations into English
